My name is Chris and I am the staff photojournalist at the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier in Iowa where I have worked for more than three years. Before that, I was a staffer at the Globe Gazette in Mason City, Iowa for five and a half years. Over that time, I have traversed the state and even the country, covering prep sports, presidential campaigns and everything in-between.

My work has allowed me to travel to the coasts, covering the Marine Corps. in San Diego and an honor flight for veterans visiting the nation’s capital.

I am a 2013 graduate from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a Bachelors of Science-Photojournalism degree and I have been, in one form or another, working in newsrooms for more than 12 years.
